It’s back!I hadn’t had froyo in about 5 days so Anthony and I had to go get some last night. It was a big bowl of vanilla-chocolate-pistachio goodness.Our biggest fights are always who gets to be the dispenser vs. toppings captain. Talk about compromise.

A tasty treat is best after a spicy meal, right? Anthony whipped up some awesome chili for dinner. The recipe? 3 peppers, 1 lb ground turkey, 1 lb ground beef, 2 cans of crushed tomatoes, 1 can tomato soup, 2 cans of beans, 1 onion, 2 jalapeno peppers, garlic, cilantro, chili powder, a lot of cumin, salt and pepper! Directions: throw in pot and let sit for a long time. Top with avocado, cheese, sour cream, tortilla chips…whatever suits you spoon. He worked out the math and estimates each bowl of chili costs approx $3.50. Boom.If you’re not tired of reading about what I eat, you can continue the journey over at the Washingtonian Magazine. These folks were curious enough to write an article about me?! Who knew food and running were such big hits. 

On that note, I’m off to start the day! I feel so energized after getting 9 hours of sleep. Best idea ever.
