minutes per mile blog

beach bloggin

After a day of bumpy Mexican road tripping and airplane riding, we woke up to this:1-_DSC0036Definitely worth the ride.

I experienced my first ever beach run. It was impossible!3-DSC03667Anthony and I covered four miles and then basically collapsed. My shoes also took quite a beating!4-DSC03671The rest of the day has been dedicated to ocean wading and beach bumming.5-DSC03674Don’t worry you guys, I have food photos to share too. When we arrived in Tulum last night we embarked on a seafood feast. We were starving!

Calamari = key to my heart.1-_DSC0024Anthony got a plate of buttery and bountiful shrimp…2-_DSC0028I enjoyed a super-fresh plate of grouper fish. YUM.3-_DSC0029As much as I have loved sharing this with you, let’s be honest here and say that the beach beats the blog. I’m going to shut down and go soak up more sun :)

  • Favorite seafood?
  • Have you ever run on the beach? If so… barefoot, or with shoes?
  • Any tips for things to do in Tulum?

  1. Beach Running always reminds me of Beach Ultimate, plenty of sprinting in/under/on the sand.

Love ‘Kalamar’ especially with yogurt (not sweet one) and garlic sauce on top!

    Enjoy the sun!

  2. We had a fantastic holdiay at Beachside during early September. The house was equipped with everything we needed a real home from home and was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, being right on the beach but also a short walk to shops, cafes and a pub. The footbridge across the River Adur to Shoreham town is currently being replaced, but there is a regular shuttle bus in service. Thanks, Rae we can’t wait to go back! lablos
