Here’s part II of my wedding week recap. (Part I here)
Since Australians don’t get as much delicious Mexican food as we Americans do, Anthony’s out-of-town family and friends seemed to especially appreciate the endless amounts of tacos and tamales. The only thing better than the food was the company. It was so nice to spend our night before the wedding relaxing with friends. And with family — which includes plenty of little ones! Introducing a stream of cuteness
After a lot of mingling, we sat down for multiple rounds of tacos.Anthony’s dad gave a hilarious and heartwarming speech! And his mom made a stunning cake.… and the parents kept delivering. They surprised us all by having an ice cream truck pull up to the driveway! Everyone became about 10 years old at this point and got really, really excited.
Anthony and I shared a banana-caramel-chocolate creation. When you can evenly split a cup of creamy ice cream on a hot summer night, you know your relationship is in the right place.Sprinkles on top. Thanks again to Ian Riley, our awesome photographer. Part III coming soon!
