Let me interrupt this dreary day with a flashback to the warm, sunny, late-summer day Anthony and I got married…We held our ceremony at The Church of the Assumption, in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood. It’s an old, historic church that is full of charm and romance. We didn’t even need to decorate it very much — our moms had the brilliant idea to add some lovely bows to the pews for added beauty!
My dad and I had one goal for our walk down the aisle: don’t cry (too much). You can tell he’s focusing hard :). Mission accomplished! Our flower girl Leah gave a spectacular performance! We had a full Catholic mass, which was traditional yet very casual at the same time. Anthony and I really enjoyed sitting together at the alter and taking it all in.One cool part of the ceremony was when the priest gave us a special prayer with our parents’ blessings. We are pretty lucky. We did it!!
After the ceremony, we got to take some fun photos with our families and friends.
Big wonderful family, from Australia to America! The girls:
