Morning! How did you start your Friday? Mine began with some 100-degree yoga. I’ve been checking out Hot Yoga of East Nashville this week.I still have a week left of classes in the intro pack, so I’ll be back later with a full recap!
In other news, I have some random food to share because it’s Friday and I finally uploaded all my photos from the week. Would you like some juice?I’ve been juicing up a storm lately. It’s up there as one of my favorite post-run eats/drinks (along with beer, ice cream, pizza, and pretty much anything edible).
I’ve been trying out some pretty crazy juice combinations (kale, grape, mint, and carrot, anyone?) — some of which were gross, and some of which were delicious. This apple-celery-carrot is definitely my favorite thus far! I’ll write down the “recipe” below, but it’s pretty versatile — so feel free to throw in anything you like.Zesty carrot-apple-celery juice (makes one big glass of juice)
- 5 carrots
- 1 apple
- 5 stalks of celery
- 1/2 a lemon
- 1 inch of ginger
Maybe I just like this juice because it’s so pretty? Some of my more random combinations have turned out a pukish green color, which doesn’t photograph quite so well…
Onto lunch. After I saw Leah’s white bean and avocado wraps, I knew I had to give them a go. (paper towels make great “dishes” when you are too lazy to use an actual dish FYI)These were good, and so easy to make! Sort of like hummus, but with a mild taste. Plus some nice crunch thanks to the coleslaw.And that’s a WRAP! See you from Asheville!
