The hills are alive! Right? And my hamstrings are dead. This morning I tackled this little monster seven times, coming in at 54-57 seconds per rep. Not so bad!
Highlight of my very boring route: This awesome 80s throwback couch, located on 14th and Setliff. How chic!Other than that, it’s looking like a pretty gloomy day out there. Let’s hope things clear up for run lunch club this afternoon?Guys. Last night I think we made one of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time. It was seriously simple, but so good! Here’s the lineup: Crumbed chicken. Asparagus. Quinoa. We took our meat tenderizer to town on some chicken breasts; then coated them in an egg/milk mixture. Dipped them in Italian bread crumbs and pan-friend them in a generous pour of olive oil After a quick fry, they were browned and ready! While Anthony cooked up the chicken, I sauteed asparagus in olive oil and garlic. A squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of Parmesan at the end. The whole meal took about 30 minutes to make! (Time to wash all the dishes, however, is another story…)After dinner we sat down to Episode 3 of the new House of Cards… wow. Anyone else watching? Or have you all already binge-watched the whole season?
Stay dry out there!
- Have you ever taken something you found on the street/in the trash? (Yes! A basket and a table in my DC days. No shame)
- If you could be one House of Cards character, who would you be? (I might go Remy, even though he’s evil)
- What are you having for dinner tonight? (Leftovers for me!)
