Hello! How was the rest of your weekend? After our epic Saturday, we kept things pretty low-key on Sunday.0816150955gSince I went to bed at a ridiculously early hour the night before, Anthony and I were up and ready to go by 6 a.m. on Sunday. Oops. We couldn’t wait until 10 am for our gym to open so decided to go on a run instead. Even though it was raining.

We took it nice and slow since my legs were pretty tired from Saturday. 5.83 miles = that is close enough to log as 6, right?0816150955iAfter our run I took Anthony to the airport and then did some serious retail damage at Opry Mills mall. That’s what happens when you ‘re single on a rainy Sunday, right?! I picked up some ultra-comfy but cute sandals for our upcoming European adventure and this fun dress. And some other stuff (I hope you’re not reading this Anthony)

Speaking of shopping: remember my shorts dilemma from the other week?  I bought a bunch of different pairs online… and ended up liking only one of them because I am a shorts diva. I returned the rest!_DSC0071New Balance Accelerate short. Not bad for $25 and I’m okay having one pair. But I still think that Lululemon does it best (for triple the price).
That’s really all I’ve got for you today! Why not wrap this up this post with a picture of pretty flowers and some other stuff from around the web?

_DSC0175Have a good day!

  1. I’ll be sporting my short-shorts at my marathon on Saturday. Yes, it will be 55 degrees. People will most likely give me strange looks. Don’t care. I don’t want to run in a diaper for 26 point two miles! How do you like the NB shorts?

    • good luck this weekend and have FUN! so cool that you are doing an international race! the new balance shorts are good — i’d give them an 8/10. they ride up juuust a little bit though. i think lulu’s do a better job of staying put.

  2. I’ve used KT before. I used it when I was having a heel issue right before a marathon and then again when I sprained my ankle and I was just coming back to running. It works miracles!
