5 favorites of late

Happy Friday! It’s been a while since I’ve done a roundup of favorites, so here goes. Maybe with the holiday season coming up and everything, you’ll find some gift inspiration. Because wrapping and shipping a 20-lb cast iron wok is easy, right?

1. Cast iron wok. We got our wok as a wedding gift but really hadn’t used it much until we started cooking more Asian dishes with Cook Smarts. I love using it — it holds so much heat, and so much food! cast iron wokAnthony used our wok just last night to make this Thai peanut/chicken noodle dish. I didn’t get home until almost 9 pm after two volleyball games and was famished!1119152025a2. Ellie Goulding’s new album. I’m warning you now: If you listen to Delirium once, it’ll play on repeat in your head for DAYS. I can’t get these catchy songs out of my head! Favorite track is definitely “Something in the Way You Move.”ellie goulding delirium album
3. Trader Joe’s pumpkin butter. It’s been unusually warm this November, so I’m making it feel like fall by eating everything pumpkin. :)

I had pumpkin butter on a weirdly shaped end piece of toast with coffee this morning! I should probably add these napkins from CB2 to my favorites list, too…_DSC0215
4. My new glasses! It’d been years since I got a new pair of glasses and I found these Ray-Ban frames at the eye doctor’s office last week. Love the funky purple color.RB7053 violet purple glasses ray ban5. Barr – Co long-burning candles. I used to be a die hard Voluspa fan, but I think Barr-Co might be my new favorite brand! This candle lasts forever and smells perfect — nice and fresh, but not overpowering.
