quick trip! BNA –> BOS

A quick hello from Boston! I’ll be busy here for the next few days at a conference but will try to pop in and say hi when I can :)

I arrived yesterday afternoon and when dinner time rolled around there was only one thing on my mind:

I stayed up way too late doing work and watching the election. That was crazy! This morning brought even more big news: the AirBnB apartment building I’m staying in has my favorite “fake running” machine. Yay.

Also went for a short stroll outside. I’m staying near South End — Boston people, any restaurant recommendations? I see a LOT of Asian spots in the neighboring Chinatown neighborhood :)

I don’t need breakfast recs, though! Love doing AirBnB so that I have my own kitchen. Nothing’s worse than a lukewarm hotel breakfast, right? I stopped at a nearby Whole Foods and picked up some eggs and other necessities (like a muffin of course) to make my own little meal at “home” this morning.

Off to get the day started. I’ll try to stop back in tomorrow but if not you can follow me on Instagram!

  • South End recommendations? I hear that this place called Buttery is quite good!
  • AirBnB or hotel? I’m about 50/50 when it comes to work travel.
  • Favorite breakfast treat? I’m torn between donuts and muffins.

  1. If there’s a Sweetgreen nearby, try it out!
Definitely prefer AirBnb over hotels. And I love donuts and muffins equally…depends on the day :)

  2. Hi from a South End reader!
Definitely try the Buttery, and if you have room afterwards, Flour Bakery. For dinner, try Wink & Nod- they have a Nepalese chef at the moment doing some interesting things!

  3. I agree– try Flour Bakery. Their chocolate chip cookies are the best ever! I went back and brought one home to my husband – they were that good.
